    Suryakumar Yadav 100 T20l Sixes Record: Team India’s star Suryakumar Yadav, also known as ‘Mr 360’, The number one T20 International batter  batted superbly, roared with his bat and came back in his form in India vs West Indies 3rd T20I on Tuesday (August 8) in Guyana.

    Suryakumar Yadav helped his team defeat the West Indies by seven wickets by smashing the Caribbean bowlers all over the park to score 83 runs off 44 balls with 10 fours and 4 sixes, as they chased down the 160-run goal in a crucial must-win match. This was Suryakumar’s 14th innings of fifty or more in T20 international play. Despite missing out on a fourth T20I century, he join elite “Six Hitting Club” with senior players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

    In just 51 T20I matches, Suryakumar Yadav has become the fastest Indian player to hit 100 sixes in T20 International cricket. Rohit Sharma, the all-format skipper of Team India, and Virat Kohli, an icon, have both completed 100 T20 sixes. However, they have not played a single T20I match for India since last year’s T20 World Cup in Australia. Rohit achieved this milestone in 92 T20 International matches, while Virat did it in 104 matches.

      Suryakumar Yadav joined Virat Kohli  and Rohit Sharma as the only other Indian players on the list to hit 100 sixes in T20Is. The record for the most sixes by an Indian in T20 Internationals is still held by Rohit Sharma. He has struck 182 sixes so far where as Virat Kohli stuck 117. Suryakumar has now scored 101* sixes in T20Is.

    In the overall list of Indian players, Suryakumar became only the third Indian batter after Virat and Rohit to hit 100 sixes in T20Is. Rohit Sharma still holds the record of ‘maximum sixes in T20Is by an Indian’. He has so far hit 182 sixes, whereas Virat has hit 117 sixes so far. Suryakumar now has 101* sixes to his name in T20Is.

    World No. one T20I batter, Suryakumar Yadav, reached 100 sixes during the third T20I between India and West Indies at the Providence Stadium in Guyana on Tuesday and he became the 2nd quickest ever, after Lewis to reach this milestone. 

     Suryakumar took 49 innings whereas Evin Lewis took 42 innings to reach this milestone. So Evin Lewis holds the number one position and Suryakumar is at number 2 position.

      Suryakumar Yadav stormed back into form with 83 runs in 44 balls  against the West Indies in the third T20I and broke some records on the way while helping India stay alive in the series. Suryakumar Yadav completes a century of sixes in T20Is.

     Surya’s innings helped India to avoid a series defeat and stay alive in the five-match series with two games to go as West Indies are still ahead 2-1. But it was a match winning knock played by Suryakumar Yadav.

     India’s chase of 160 against the West Indies in the third T20I did not get off to a good start as the team’s opening pair Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill were dismissed early. After this Suryakumar Yadav took over the reins of the Indian innings. During this, Tilak Verma also strongly supported Surya and as the match progressed, the team came back in the match and won the match by 7 wickets.

    With this win, India is now 1-2 in the series. If we talk about the batsman who scored the most runs in the match, then it was Suryakumar Yadav. Who played brilliant innings of 83 runs in 44 balls with 10 fours and 4 sixes.

   Tilak Varma [ 49* ] missed out on a half-century in the third T20 against the West Indies. During this, he scored an unbeaten 49 runs in 37 balls.
Which includes four fours and a six. Earlier in the second T20, a half-century came out of Tilak’s bat.

India keep the series alive as Suryakumar Yadav‘s knock provided the visitors a great comeback in the 5-match T20I series against West Indies. Chasing 160 against West Indies in a slow Providence wicket was not an easy job but Suryakumar Yadav with his 83 runs innings put India in comfortable position. He smashed 4 sixes in his 44-ball innings, and also touched a milestone in his T20I career. SKY became the 3rd Indian batter to hit 100 or more sixes in T20Is. He needed 3 sixes to complete 100 sixes in his T20 career.

  When India was on the verge of losing the series, Suryakumar Yadav, who had a dreadful run on the Caribbean tour, got back to doing what he does best by scoring his first 50 of the limited-overs leg. India easily attained a 160-run mark to maintain their lead in the five-match series. In his lightning-quick 83 runs off just 44 balls, nicknamed as “SKY,” he completely destroyed the Windies bowlers, hitting 10 fours and four sixes.

     Fastest player to reach 100 T20I sixes:

     In just 49 innings, Suryakumar accomplished the feat of hitting 100 T20I sixes, surpassing some of India’s cricketing legends. The record for the fastest player to reach 100 T20I sixes is held by West Indies batter Evin Lewis. Suryakumar’s achievement underlines his explosive batting prowess and his impact on the shortest format of the game.

     Right-hand batter Suryakumar Yadav is known for his counter-attacking cricket. One again it was evident with his game against West Indies in the second innings. India were two down inside the powerplay but he, along with newcomer Tilak Varma stitched a match-winning partnership of 87 runs. Suryakumar missed out on a well-deserved century as he got out while trying to play a big shot. Surya was caught at fine-leg by Brandon King of 83 in 44 balls smashing 10 fours and 4 sixes.
     Indian chased down the target comfortably and Suryakumar Yadav was awarded the Player of the Match for his magnificent knock. Along with him, Tilak Varma also contributed massively and remained unbeaten on 49 in 37 balls. Tilak has been performing consistently since he made his debut for India in the first T20I. With 2-1 score line in favour of West Indies, both teams will fly to United States of America to play final two games of the series.
